Once all the process elements have been installed, the organization moves to the Sustainability Phase. Learnings are put into place, and the organization adopts new processes and behaviors as a matter of daily practice. Measures are reviewed at each level and necessary actions are taken to overcome barriers or close any gaps between the operating state and the desired performance standards. The focus on high value activities and the consistency of their practice provides increasingly lower costs and improved production operations. Coaching during the Sustain stage is continued until KPI and Behavioral Metric goals are met over a period of at least six consecutive reporting periods. |
